I hate the plant, the plant hates me and I want to become her

What kind of knowledge emerges when two bodies cannot touch?
This story traces an impossible relation between a human body and a plant that reject each other.

Through performance, blood, agriculture, and desire, it follows the tensions that arise when intimacy begins in hostility. Living with a rare and severe allergy, artist Margherita Soldati turns her own body into a site of artistic research. Moving through greenhouses, clinics, and galleries, she approaches the organisms that threaten her, tracing the strange intimacy between rejection and attraction. Blood, ecology, and desire intertwine as the work unfolds across agricultural landscapes and the systems that govern how bodies and plants are allowed to coexist.
