Human blood donations sustain strawberry plants, turning care into a transaction between bodies, food and desire. Visitors were invited to donate a drop of blood to keep the plants alive and, in exchange, could take a strawberry home. Moving between nourishment and extraction, the work reflects on the systems of care, dependency and sacrifice embedded in food production: what we give, what we take, and what it costs to satisfy our desires.
